Town Hall
About 110 years ago in Golden, BC, the Canadian Pacific Railway hired mountain guides from Switzerland, and this area became the birthplace of tourism in the Canadian Rockies. Now, there's a plan to create a town hall that brings together culture and community in one shared space.
This town hall blends modern design with a strong connection to nature and community. Set into the hillside, the building uses natural materials like stone and wood to complement its surroundings, while large windows bring in daylight and open up views of the forest. Inside, the layout is designed for both daily operations and community events, with an easy flow that supports flexibility and function. Final touches are still being worked through with the client.
